I'm laughing my butt off here. Born in an artists' colony, raised in several artists' colonies, I always swore I would be anything BUT an artist. Unfortunately, it appears, blood will tell, and I was unable to escape that fate (though I still persist in calling myself an illustrator -just because it sounds so much more practical). I am happy to say that I didn't marry one (and that was no accident), though my husband is not without his artistic talents. At least he knows better than to try to make a living as one.
